Environmental/Health Scientist/Consultant- Environmental Management Support, Inc.

Environmental Management Support, a small, professional services consulting firm, has an immediate opening for an environmental or health scientist with 3-5 years experience, or a relevant masters degree and 1-3 years experience.

You will work with our existing staff and federal clients researching, writing, managing, and revising human health and ecological guidance and outreach materials used by professionals and regulated industries.

Examples of ongoing projects include participating at national risk assessment conferences for the purpose of writing technical summaries, developing and implementing risk communications strategies and materials suitable for lay audiences, researching and updating regulatory guidance for hazardous and solid waste programs, managing scientific peer reviews, and writing lay-person fact sheets on health and ecological issues affecting the public.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and has excellent writing, and customer service skills. Any project management experience is a plus.

A four-year degree in an appropriate scientific discipline is required for this position, and an advanced degree is a plus.
